Ngày 19/09/2010 đã có sự cố liên quan đến tủ rack Việt Hosting đặt server do đó đã khiến 1 số server mất ổn định, đồng thời có 2 server đã bị hỏng ổ cứng là server Shared Hosting mang ip 8.26 và server VPS mang ip 8.86.
Riêng server 8.26 đã được thay ổ cứng mới kịp thời và phục hồi dữ liệu nên đã hoạt động lại bình thường sau đó, còn server 8.86 vì ổ cứng hỏng quá nặng nên chỉ khôi phục được 3 trên số 10 VPS trên đó. Số dữ liệu còn lại không thể phục hồi được. Bên phía Việt Hosting đã yêu cầu Datacenter có biện pháp hỗ trợ xử lý ngay vấn đề trên để tránh bị vấn đề này xảy ra lần nữa.
1) Đối với các khách hàng VPS bị sự cố, Việt Hosting sẽ công thêm 01 tháng sử dụng dịch vụ miễn phí cho các bạn vào thời gian sử dụng dịch vụ còn lại vì đã chịu sự cố đáng tiếc trên.

2) Vì sự cố hỏng ổ cứng trên, toàn bộ dữ liệu và dữ liệu backup của trang https://clients.viethosting.com đã không thể phục hồi được, vì vậy các khách hàng vui lòng đăng ký lại tài khoản của mình tại trang https://clients.viethosting.com để chúng tôi thuận tiện trong việc quản lý và hỗ trợ, các gói dịch vụ của khách hàng sẽ được fix lại ngày tháng hết hạn chính xác sau khi các bạn hoàn tất việc đăng ký tài khoản tại trang https://clients.viethosting.com. (Sau khi hoàn tất đăng ký, các khách hàng cũng sẽ nhận được mã khuyến mãi giảm 20% cho lần gia hạn dịch vụ tiếp theo.)
